One of the hardest things for me to do is getting up and out of the house to get to the gym! At this point I have graduated from being what they like to call "thick" to just being overweight! And I use that word because I don't like using the word fat. I can remember a time that I would go to the gym twice a day, now I'm struggling to even get there to do a 30 minute workout. Am I the only one that can come up with 20 reasons why I should skip the gym and only 3 reasons to go?
And you get there and 95% of the people in there look like they NEVER need to go the gym. You have these super skinny girls on machines on their cell phones, walking like they are on a runway, and drinking Starbucks on the treadmill. And the men like they have been lifting weights since the day they were born. No lie I saw a chic in the gym last week and she had on a camo jumpsuit, flip flops, and a fur coat, PLANKING! NO LIE!
Sidebar: Am I the only one that cringes when I hear a bunch of skinny girls that have just eaten what they think is a lot of food, refer to it as "being fat", instead of "greedy" or just eating a lot of food, which is what it is? Why has using "being fat" become cute or even acceptable. I wonder if they'd use that if they were sitting at a table with a friend who was overweight and openly insecure about it. And if they wouldn't then why use it when they are not around and/or with certain not overweight friends?
