When you're leaving the port of Naples the first things that you notice is hundreds of people and what someone who has never been to another country would think is a prison.  But in fact it is not a prison but a castle!  right in front of you is 1 of the 4 castles that is in Naples.  It is not a beautiful site but amazing for a woman who has only seen castles in books.
I have this weird obsession with taking pictures of alley ways and Naples, Italy was a dream for me because they has so many long and full alley ways.  Cars, scooters, people, windows, graffiti, stores, and signs filled the alley ways with so many things to see!

Mount Vesuvius
The views on my bus tour were amazing but I was also lucky enough to have some great views from the top deck of the ship.  One of the best views was that of Mount Vesuvius.  On a fateful summer morning in A.D. 79, Mount Vesuvius buried the vibrant Roman city of Pompeii—and many of its citizens—beneath tons of volcanic ash and debris.
